Our Story

It all began with a visit — one that had been long overdue.
I had been living in Victoria, far from home, for years. But there was one person I had not seen in a long time — my grandmother, who lived in India, a thousand miles away from my parents. My mother, eager to keep her connected to the family, had gifted her an iPad. It was meant to bridge the distance between us, to bring us closer, but it sat untouched. No one nearby could help her figure it out.
When I finally made the trip back to India, I knew this was the moment. I spent the next few days with her, patiently setting up the iPad, guiding her step-by-step. With every tap, every swipe, I could see her learning, her eyes lighting up with curiosity. And then, after what felt like forever, it happened — she made her first video call.
The joy on her face was something I will never forget. For the first time in years, she saw the faces of her loved ones, heard their voices, and felt the warmth of family despite the miles that separated us. It was a powerful moment, and in that instant, I realized something that I couldn’t shake: my grandmother wasn’t the only one struggling with technology.
How many other seniors, here in Victoria, and around the world, were feeling disconnected? How many were facing the same challenges with their devices, their smartphones, their tablets, and wondering how to bridge that gap?
When I returned to Victoria, the thought stayed with me. That moment with my grandmother wasn’t just a personal experience; it was a wake-up call. There was a need — a real need — to help seniors navigate the digital world and stay connected with those they loved.
That’s when the idea for Seniors Tech Support was born.
I wanted to make sure no senior ever felt the frustration of not being able to use the technology that could bring them closer to their family. I wanted to help seniors feel the same joy, the same confidence, and the same connection that my grandmother felt in that moment.
We are here to make sure seniors don’t just use technology — they embrace it, joyfully and confidently. Because every senior deserves to see the faces of their loved ones, hear their laughter, and feel that connection, no matter the distance.
It all started with my grandmother’s smile. Today, I’m helping seniors across Victoria find theirs, too.
